so i was reading this book for school called “But Don’t All Religions Lead To God?” and i mean it was ok, just a bit long on some chapters. but i really enjoyed how he put this:

You man have seen a famous painting to illustrate that promise by the pre-Raphealite artist Homan Hunt. Curiously, he painted to originals, one hanging in Keble College Oxford and the other in St. Pauls Cathedral, It is a picure that brilliantly bring out the meaning of Christ’s promise to us It shows us a house with creepers growing up the door, which itself had no handle. And outside stands Jesus Christ, with a lantern in His hand(for He is the Light of the world), robed in white with red cloask to denote His sinless life and sacrificial death, and this is underlined the crown of thorns on His head and the nail-pierced hand that knocks on the door. The creepers up the door show He has been waiting for a long time. The absence of a handle on the outside shows that the door has to be opened from the inside.  The point is very clear that house represents our lives. The Lord Jeuse Christ, who stands excluded outside,both made the house at our birth and bought it back so to speak at great cost  on the cross after we the tenants had stolen it from Him. He made it :  He bought it. It is doubly His. He stands there pateiently knocking. In my case he has been doing it for years. How about you? Why does he not enter? Because the tenant does not ask Him.That is , i suppose  the depth of human sin: not so much to do terrible things, but to cultivate an attitude of rejection that goes our way and keeps Jesuse Christ, the most wonerful and loving person who has ever lived, exculed from our lives. But does he give up? No. He stands there knocking. His voice and “opens the door”. It is obvious enough what He means.

ok that page just like really struck me i was like thats totaly true i have excluded god for all my life, and tonight i wanna open the door.

(if there is any spelling mistakes sorry i typed the whole page without looking so umm. if i messed up try and peice it together) i hope this post made an impact on you the same way it did me :)

READ MY NAME

ok so today at school our English teacher brought us into the “movie room” which also doubles as  music/movie room and she had us listen to the song and it was nice but i disliked it because i had heard it over 18 times that day and thats because the kids comprehension is SOOOO bad cuz they dont know english and all that  (we had 2 periods with her and each period is 50 min s long :( so now it is stuck in my head (which sucks ok cuz the song MAJORLY sucks ) well here it is its quite a lovly song (as long as you dont listen to it for 18 times):

Written by Chris de Burgh

For every child that has been born there is a chance to shine,
And everyone can have a dream until the end of time,
So live for every moment as the world keeps turning round,
And lift your hands up to the sky and say it loud and proud,
“I have been here, read my name, read my name! “

For every child that has been born there is a chance in life,
To try it all and be someone with what we have inside,
So don’t give up and don’t give in, just give it all instead,
And raise your voice above the crowd and let them know
You’ve said “I have been here, read my name, read my name;
With all I’ve got I’ve taken part, I’ve made a difference
To the world, I have been here just read my name!”

Endlessly amazing and inventive that we are, we dive the
Deepest oceans and we reach out for the stars,
And one day there will be a man across the universe,
Who’ll say “I come from Planet Earth” and these will
Be his words; “I have been here, read my name, read my name;
With all I’ve got I’ve taken part, I’ve made a
Difference to the world, I have been here, just read
My name !”

And when the darkness has to fall and comes the end
Of days, then lift your hands up to the sky and say it
Once again…..”I have been here and I have taken part,
I’ve made a difference to the world I have been here,
Just read my name!”

Quote for the day: “Calculators make the world go round” :P

 And today instead of a “MUST DOWNLOAD SONG” ’ going to put “MUST NOOTTTTTT DOWNLOAD SONG” : “read my name” chris De Bourg
